Maayo Buntag!!! So this week was pretty awesome so lets see
if i can remeber everything that happened hahah. First of all we got our travel
plans last week and Im sad to say that me and Hoffy will be splitting up just
six short days from today. Im the only one in my disrict leaving in the morning
so im going with mostly Tagalag people for some reason lol but I got some
homies over there as well. I fly to LA and then sit there in the airport for 9
hours until my flight to Hong Kong leaves. So I guess ill be handing out some
mga Bashon ni Mormon! haha joke lang maybe though but my flight to hong kong
leaves after the flight for the people who leave after me to the slc airport if
that made any sense hahah. But im so excited holy cow i cant wait to interact
with these people and figure out what is funny to them(hopefully sooner than later),
hahah but yea this week was pretty awesome. Had to say goodbye to my boy Kolly,
so crazy how my boys are hittting the field before me because I still have one
week in the Manilla Mtc as well. Me and Hoffy through down some good lessons
this week and made some peeps cry you know. haha but still we only have one
lesson left with both of our investigators which is kind of crazy because they
are just our teachers role playing but I still love them and their willingness
to do what we ask every day. I hope that the Filipinos are really this willing
to put in the work for eternal life, which im pretty sure they are. I love my
teachers so much and they teach me something new every minute, I will really
miss their support as we leave. We had a testimony meeting last night for our
last week and it was amazing to see how everyone has grown so much in so many
aspects. I have seen spiritual growth and growth in the language out of
everyone in their own little ways which is a testimony builder to what the gospel
can do to someone that hasnt ever received it before. We are an english poasa
karon adlo busa ako wala kahibolo kon ko type sa Ingles but i guess it is okay
hahah because im not talkiing in Ingles at all today. Hahah funny story i was
laying on my bed a couple of days ago with my nose deep in the Book of Mormon
and hoffy was talking uban our roomies across the room and he said something
and I think i made a little interjection or something and the next thing i know
theres a gashing wound in my forehead. The kid was 15 feet away from me and
turned around and frisbey-threw a pencil in less than the time it takes me to
blink and the very tip hit my head. How he did it? Wala ko kahibolo, but i was
in shock for a couple minutes because i thought james bond had snuck into my
room for a quick minute. Anyway this gave me the opportunidad to take a selfie
of my wound and show off theee worst haircut i have ever received hahah. Also
ill talk about one of our lessons... So we went in to talk to sister Ellie and
the lesson wasnt going to great until we turned to an amazing scripture and we
finished strong and before we left she stopped us and turned back into Sis
Soleta and started crying because that was what she needed to here and we had
no idea that kini kasulatan was the one that got her through her mish which is
crazy. Sa espiritu santo works in amazing ways! So yea the week was good Hoffy
is still throwing pencils at me so I just quiet him down by telling him how
much fun me and my travel companion are going to have for the one day we are
together hahah. Hope you all have an amazing week and i might get to email this
tuesday before i leave but idk so just stay within shouting distance. Get on
your knees and pray every night! Our Heavenly Father is listening and if you pray
kinasingkasing, he will give you what you need. Love this gospel and the
paglaum ug kalipay that it brings. Love you all and miss you.
So the pics theres a couple weird selfies that Hoff took of
himself (guess he hasnt mastered it from my teachings), then my roomie stole
everyones matrases and put it on one bed frame so that was sweet hahah. I
promise that we still do work tho hahah just goofin for a second.
Press forward in faith
