11.7.17 Siquijor

Alooooha! Its me and again and here to report an eventful week. It started last week as we traveled to the next door neighbor island negros where i stayed until saturday. E Ranon had a meeting in cebu and i waited for him there and worked with our Zone leaders. I learned a lot from them and we had a lot of cool experiences. One that stuck out was when we talk two less-actives, one of which was mute because of a stroke. We walked in and he stood there with the biggest smile i had every seen and it made me so happy. Throughout the lesson he pointed and me and laughed hahah maybe he was thinking different stuff about me then i thought but his love was overwhelming. It was a great reminder to me that even through hard times and circumstances, there is no reason for us to get down if we have a perfect hope! We got back home and only had Saturday night to work but we went and saw some of our investigators and still got some lessons in. On Sunday we were blessed with three investigators to sacrament after weeks without any! I was so happy and it was also my first week to conduct sacrament so that was funny hahah we had a brown out half way through so everything got dark and the mike turned off and that was something i had never experienced before. And then another thing i had never experienced before happened hahah. Our investigator (who is a tatay - father). stood up and and walked to the mic and held my hand as he began to prophecy to us. It was so awesome! That is until he got into detail about how Jesus doesnt have an earthy father hahah but the ending was the best. He said: "Salamat, Salamat." (thanks, thanks) and took two bows to the crowd then continued to shake everyones hands on the pulpit including the blessers of the sacrament. hahah but he is good and his family is progressing and if all works out he will baptize his daughters in less than a month! It was a big testiment to me that fasting and praying for help really does work with a sincere heart. We are doing good this week and all is well and thank you for all of your support! So grateful for the people here and go read Moroni 10:32, come unto Christ! love it! Love you all and never forget to press forward in faith.

We are working hard here always and i Think i will be spending the next few days in Dumaguette kay my comp is going to Cebu for DLC. We have a couple of families that are very promising for baptisms so keep your fingers crossed! Love you all and read the end of Enos if you can. 10.25.17 Siquijor

Hello people sorry for not having the right emails and stuff in here and I hope I got it right this time and also sorry for not being able to get the pictures. I try and make it so you can see them all the time but i must not be doing something right. Pero this week was good! Ahahah we welcomed in our new kabalay Elder Brioness a Filipino who just got out of his follow up and he is super funny hahah. It rained every day last week and all day and the storms were kind of sketchy and sad to say that the 12 person umbrella from aunt lindy and uncle raf(wow two weeks in a row they are lucky), has taken some serious damage and loves to flip inside out on me when the wind is blowing hahah pretty funny. But yea good week we had one person to church and she is doing good pero we need to work on the eight other IBDs (investigators with baptism date) we have that dates for a month from now. I also had my first CSP (community service project) yesterday, we found Nanay Willey Monday night and she needed some helping building a fence so we went back yesterday and built it for her. Lets just say building a fence without nails or a shovel is something new but we got it done and it was nindot. We had another CSP today gihapon so we are just getting those service hours in! But yea good week all is well sorry kind of boring but i hope everything is good back home! Try and think about Joseph Smith and his experience and think about how amazing that wouldve been! I think about that a lot becuse we teach it a lot every day and i learn something new every time. Love you all and sorry no pics this week! Amping huh!
